Privacy Policy

Who we are: Dig-E-Events is a technology platform provided by Dig-E-Minds. Organizers use it to publish events and manage registrations; for the data they collect about their attendees, the organizer decides why and how it is used.

What we collect: attendee name, email, mobile number and optional city; answers to questions the organizer chose to ask; for manual UPI payments, the payment screenshot and reference you upload; technical data needed to run the service (such as request logs and anonymous page-view / campaign-source counts). Organizers also give us account details (name, email, organization). We do not collect more than is needed to register you for an event.

Why we use it (purposes): to process your registration and payment, to send confirmations, reminders, passes, certificates and review invitations, to let the organizer run and verify the event, to prevent fraud and abuse, to keep the platform secure, and to meet legal obligations.

Who sees it: the organizer of the event you register for and the staff they authorise (with role-based limits); our service providers who process data for us (hosting and storage on Cloudflare, email delivery, and payment gateways where the organizer enabled one); and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data. Attendee lists are never public.

Payments: online gateway payments are handled by the gateway chosen by the organizer; we do not store card or bank credentials. For manual UPI payments the money goes directly to the organizer.

Retention: registration data is kept for as long as the organizer needs it to run the event, handle refunds and disputes, and meet accounting and legal duties, and is then deleted or anonymised. Payment proof images are kept only as long as needed to verify and reconcile the payment. Security and audit logs are kept for a limited period.

Your rights: you can ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain about how it is handled. Contact the event organizer first for event data, or the platform using the details below for platform data or if the organizer does not respond. We will respond within a reasonable time and as the law requires.

Children: events are not directed at children; organizers must obtain parental consent where they admit minors.
